The City invites Quotations for the provision of Apprenticeship Training: Civil Engineering Technician Standard. The City of London is looking for Providers to deliver apprenticeship training as required by apprentice employee(s) of the City of London Corporation. In particular it refers to apprenticeship delivery requirements against the Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Civil Engineering Technician https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/civil-engineering-technician/ This would be on a subcontracting basis. A subcontractor as defined by the by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) is an organisation that is engaged in a contractual and legally binding arrangement with one or more lead providers, to deliver education and training provision that the ESFA funds. The City of London Corporation (COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LONDON) is the lead provider (UKPRN: 10008915) The City invites quotations from training providers that satisfy the criteria in the ESFA Funding rules;https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/733050/1819_Provider_Rules_v1.0.pdf The City of London has a current requirement for one apprenticeship to this Standard with the expectation, but not the guarantee, that further apprenticeships to this Standard will be required up to a maximum contract value of £96k. The advised duration for the Civil Engineering Technician Standard is 36 months. Apprentices can start on this contract with the training provider between September 2019 and August 2022.
