Leeds City Council (LCC) are looking for a consortium of funding partner, electricity provider and contractor to build a new business case for renewables and also trial how consumer demand for electricity can be managed, to complement or reduce the need for major investments in electricity grid infrastructure. We wish to use this market sounding exercise to find out what the private sector think about working with a large landlord to develop a new way of funding the large scale generation of zero carbon energy through provision of smart energy saving technologies, solar panels and energy storage, in a newly energy efficient home.
