Tender description

The Defence Munitions Commercial Team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), proposes to award a new contract to Expleo Engineering UK Ltd. for maintenance, repair and post design services for the safety and monitoring systems located at Defence Munitions Beith and Gosport. The safety and monitoring system is integral to the safe testing of complex weapons at these Defence Munitions sites in accordance with JSP 482 (MOD Explosive Regulations). The system requires regular maintenance and repair to ensure safe operation. The new contract is expected to will begin on 1.8.2019 and run for an initial term of four (4) years until 31.7.2023, with three (3) one (1) year extension options. The estimated aggregate value of the new contract is 2 525 000 GBP (ex-VAT).
