Domestic Electrical Testing

Tender description

1.1 The Council wishes to appoint a Electrical Contractor to undertake the domestic testing to Bristol City Councils housing stock 1.2 The duration of the contract will be for 4 years with the option to extend for up to a further 1 year, subject to agreement with the Council and the provider. An average of 1200 tests will be required each year; this is subject to available funding, at a cost of £200,000 per annum. This document contains details of the bidding process. 1.3 The contractor will be asked to submit a price for each itemised set of rates provided in the pricing document. (Separate Document.) The works will comprise of an initial test, followed by remedial work to the value of £100. (See item 17.0) of the Specification. Additional work required, exceeding the amount stated, will be authorised by the contract administrator, conformation via phone call from the property and additional conformation via email. Additional works to the value of £100 will still be required to be added to the individual invoice using the correct SOR's. Closing date 24 June 12noon
