This procurement relates to the provision of global marketing, fulfilment, account management and customer service for Transport for London’s Visitor Oyster Card product. The Visitor Oyster Card (VOC) provides a specific pay as you go product for visitors to London. The product can be purchased by visitors from outside the M25 motorway in the UK and across the world; unlike the traditional Oyster Card the VOC can only be brought prior to arrival in London. The VOC can be used wherever an Oyster card can be used, as well as on the Gatwick and Heathrow Express services. Delivery of the project will involve the global marketing, fulfilment, account management and customer service provisions for the VOC. Transport for London (TfL) will be issuing a market sounding questionnaire (MSQ) for this procurement. The MSQ allows TfL to engage with the market and help gather information to be built into the upcoming specification and strategy for this procurement. This gives potential suppliers the opportunity to offer suggestions that may tailor the procurement more favourably to the current capability and capacity of the market.
