Tender description

Merseytravel is the executive body for transport of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. As part of this role, Merseytravel owns and operates the Mersey Ferries. Mersey Ferries operate a programme of cruises along the Manchester Ship Canal, between Liverpool/Wirral and Salford. There are around 40-50 cruises each year, usually between April and October. Merseytravel requires a reliable, high-quality, customer-focused coach service to provide return travel for cruise customers, either from Salford to Liverpool/Wirral or vice versa. The numbers of passengers on each cruise varies, but the maximum is 350. The contract period is from April 2019 to March 2022 (although it may be extended by up to 2 years, at Merseytravel’s discretion). Keywords: Coach Services
