Tender description

The University has a requirement for the supply, commission, installation and maintenance of a Fully Automated Vapour Phase Cryogenic Storage System (-190⁰ C) with box level automation and lifting mechanism. At present it is expected that the new laboratory building will be completed in the final quarter of 2019, installation and testing will need to take place once the main building work has been completed. However, due to the specific needs of this equipment in terms of building design and construction, there will need to be detailed discussions with the building design and construction team as soon as the contract has been awarded. A detailed schedule will be required, scheduling the installation, taking into account and timing and access requirements for the equipment such as space and facilities (electrical, digital, accessibility, etc.).
