Installation services of fire protection equipment

Tender description

Bromford Housing Group Ltd as a central purchasing body on behalf of itself and any of its current or future entities and subsidiaries wishes to invite interested suppliers to participate in the procurement process to establish a single contract for the various replacement, refurbishment, repair and associated remedial works in connection with passive fire safety. The scope of Works will broadly include: — replacement, repair and refurbishment of fire doors, frames and associated works, — partial refurbishment of intrinsic passive fire safety measures, — fire resistant glazing; works related to compartmentation, ironmongery and other sundries, — various works relating to signage, — fire stopping works, — installation of fire collars and smoke/heat detection systems and other electrical works and — any other repair (including remedial) works to maintain the integrity of passive fire protection. Full Specification is provided in the ITT. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labour, materials, plant, tools and equipment. Full Specification is provided in the ITT. Detailed Schedule of Rates is provided in the ITT. Annual requirement for various replacement, refurbishment, repair and associated remedial works in connection with passive fire safety is influenced by and derives from the fire risk assessments, stock condition database and budget provision. The Contractor will not provide the fire risk assessments as these are being completed in-house. The Contract will be awarded under the JCT Measured Term form of Contract 2016 with the Authorities amendments.
