Tender description

We are looking for a suitably experienced contractor to carry out in-depth qualitative research with disabled people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries or neurodiverse conditions, who have experienced pre-trial proceedings as an accused and, where possible, those who have experienced modernised processes and systems. The findings from this research in Scotland will feed into a wider GB inquiry examining the identification of disabled accused's needs and the procedural and practical adjustments necessary to ensure that disabled people can participate equally and effectively in criminal proceedings against them in Scotland.
