WTC - Whitnash Community Hub for Whitnash Town Council

Tender description

Whitnash Town Council is seeking a contractor (or group of contractors) to carry out the construction of a new community building. The scope of works will generally include the erection of a new community hub building consisting of an office for the town council, meeting room, library, small café and seating area together with small sports hall with associated storage, changing rooms and offices. The works also include the provision of a new parking area, electric charging points, bicycle parking and associated storage and surfacing works. Work is expected to commence during October 2019 for a maximum of 42 weeks. The Council expects bids in the region of £1.5m for the completion of the main works with bids in excess of £1.6m unlikely to be accepted. An additional budget allocation is available in relation to the re-location of 2 sports pitches.
