HTE intends to procure for a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for Safe Patient Moving and Handling Equipment. HTE intends to award up to 4 suppliers to the framework agreement. The term of the Framework Agreement will be 3 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year. Suppliers who respond to this PIN Notice to express their interest in this procurement, may be requested to attend a Supplier day. The purpose of the supplier day is: 1) To assist in determining the potential value of this procurement; 2) For suppliers to demonstrate the range of products they have available to assist in the preparation of the specification. Suppliers are advised that a maximum number of 8 suppliers only will be invited to the supplier day and selection will be based on the first 8 applicants received. No further expressions will be accepted. Suppliers will be invited to present for 30 minutes followed by 30 minutes of questions. Expressions must be received by 5:00 pm 24.5.2019. HTE are seeking to establish a new Framework Agreement for the provision of safe patient moving and handling equipment, the scope will include to aid the transport and support moving a patient, and may be used in either a Hospital, Residential Home, or Patient Home environment. This will include (but is not limited) to the following items: — hoists/patient lifts, — standing aids (both manual and electric), — bathing equipment, — transfer equipment (slings, slide sheets, inflatable devices). HTE are seeking to establish a new Framework Agreement for safe patient moving and handling managed services. The service will incorporate all purchases required by Trusts to aid the transport and support in moving a patient, and may be used in either a Hospital, Residential Home, or Patient Home environment. Suppliers appointed to this agreement will be expected to supply all aids/equipment needed by the Trusts as stated in this prior information notice. Suppliers appointed will also be expected to provide the ongoing training, support and maintenance. The services will include the supply (but is not limited to) of the following items: — hoists/patient lifts, — standing aids (both manual and electric), — bathing equipment, — transfer equipment (slings, slide sheets, inflatable devices).
