Tender description

General electrical installation and refurbishment works to consist of but not be exclusive to the following type of works: — removal of existing installation, — Installation of main electricity supply, — Installation of earthing and bonding systems, — Installation of distribution systems, — Installation of lighting inclusive of emergency lighting and external lighting, — Installation of small power installations, — Installation of fire alarm systems and interfaces, — Installation of electric space heating/cooling, — Installation of electric water heating, — Installation of ventilation systems, — Installation of electro-mechanical services, — Installation of electrical services associated passenger/goods lifts, — Installation of other equipment, — Associated builders work, — Testing and Commissioning. The Council’s intention is to enter into a Framework Agreement with 5 provider/s for Lot 1, 7 providers for Lot 2 and 10 providers for Lot 3 The framework is split into 3 lots Lot 1: 0 – 5 000 Lot 2: 5 001 to 75 000 Lot 3: 75 000 up The Council’s intention is to enter into a Framework Agreement with 5 provider/s for Lot 1 Lot 1: 0 – 5 000 The Council’s intention is to enter into a Framework Agreement with 5 provider/s for 10 providers for Lot 3 unless fewer than this number of tenders are received. Lot 3: 75 000 and up The Council’s intention is to enter into a Framework Agreement with 7 providers for Lot 2 unless fewer than this number of tenders are received Lot 2: 5 001 to 75 000
