Tender description

UDI ved Ankomst og transittenheten [the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration c/o the Transit Unit] will procure operation of Kasper Transit Reception Centre in Våler kommune [municipality] in Østfold. A state transit reception centre for asylum seekers is an accommodation site where the residents have access to food, clothing and other essentials while waiting to be moved to a regular reception centre or returned. The offer must secure the basic needs of the residents and the individuals need for safety. The reception centre must have a total capacity of 220 places. The places are distributed as follows: 170 permanent places, 50 unit price places. The contract period will start on the agreed commencement date, 2.9.2019, and will have a duration of two (2) years, with an option for the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration to extend the contract on verbatim terms until 31.1.2023.
