Tender description
Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has a need for a Home to School Travel Assistance solution/ portal. This solution would have a section for parents / carers, a section for contractors, a section for schools and an overall administration section. It will provide an end to end solution and for the management and delivery of our home to school travel assistance service. Our aim is to turn the existing paper based home to school application system into a digital format using a secure portal. This will; A) Streamline the service making it more efficient and less staff resource intensive. B) Improve the transfer of data concerning vulnerable children and adults by making it secure ensuring that the service fully complies with GDPR Keywords: School, Home, Taxi, Transport
