This is an advert for soft market testing to gauge market interest which will influence future commissioning and procurement direction. Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin CCG's intend to go to market in June 2019 under Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations to procure a non-emergency patient transport service for the health population of the county of Shropshire. This is an advert for soft market testing to gauge market interest which will influence future commissioning and procurement direction. NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of Shropshire CCG and Telford and Wrekin CCG are seeking to engage with potential providers for the provision of non-emergency patient transport services. Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin CCG's intend to go to market in June 2019 under Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations to procure a non-emergency patient transport service for the health population of the county of Shropshire. The service provider(s) will be required to work collaboratively with existing providers as part of an integrated, evidence based approach to patient care. The CCG's anticipate that this future procurement will be awarded to one service provider or a lead provider on behalf of a consortium. The aim of the market engagement event will be to engage with potential providers for these services in order to share the commissioning intentions of the CCG's, and to seek the input from providers on a number important aspects relating to the services, including the service specification. The CCG's would like to assess the current market appetite to provide this service and identify any barriers to successful implementation. The outcomes of the market engagement event will then determine next steps. At the event there will be an opportunity for providers to network with other providers and commissioners. Any future contract awarded will be in line with the NHS Standard Contract. The anticipated contract period is 3 years with up to a 24 month contract extension. The event will be held on: Friday 17.5.2019 at: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (Registration 9:45 a.m.). Location: NHS Telford and Wrekin CCG, Halesfield 6, Halesfield, Telford, TF7 4BF.
