Tender description

The Department for Infrastructure (NI) (The “Authority”) proposes to procure a replacement electronic street works and notification register (NISRANS) on behalf of NIRAUC. This managed service, to be hosted by the chosen contractor in a secure environment, is required from the 5.5.2019 and must cover the full range of street works activity in Northern Ireland involving the notification, registration, inspection and coordination of all works covered by the Street Works (NI) Order 1995 (as amended in 2007) and all associated regulations made under the order. The initial contract period is for a duration of 5 years and approx. 6 months (the first approx. 6 months will include the implementation phase followed by 5 years following service commencement (Go Live)). There is also the option to extend this contract by a further 2 periods of 2 years from the end date of the initial contract period.
