Tender description

Tenders are invited for the supply of services to provide an Electronic Medication Administration Records System (EMAR) to the Sanctuary Group. Initially for a pilot project, followed by a roll out across the Group's Care Homes. Further details are available at in the tender documents at: https://procontract.due-north.com/ The objective of the tender is to deliver an EMAR system for use across all the Group care homes which: — provides a mobile solution that is easy to use, — enables safe medication administration at the point of care, — records information in real time, — reduces medication errors, — alerts in advance of any errors about to be made, — provides robust and accurate clinical and management reports, — improves and maintains CQC/CI compliancy, — identifies staff members who need further medication training, — reduces administrative workload, — has the potential to integrate with other Sanctuary systems, — could provide a “Shared Medication File” between the pharmacist and care hom, — can be utilised in other areas of the group, e.g. supported living.
