Lift-maintenance services

Tender description

The London Borough of Redbridge is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations in relation to contracts for the provision of planned preventative maintenance lift services for both Corporate Landlord and Housing departments. There are 2 lots covered by this requirement: — Lot 1: Passenger and Goods Lifts — Corporate Landlord, — Lot 2: Passenger and Goods Lifts — Housing. Organisations are permitted to express an interest for any lots for which they consider they are suitably qualified and experienced. Organisations shall be aware that responses to each lot will be evaluated separately. The lift services specification covers the requirements to maintain the assets that are deemed to be included within this lift services systems. The contractor shall undertake the periodic planned preventative maintenance regimes as directed within SFG20 provided by BESA (the building engineering services association) and applicable HTM and manufacturers requirements as a minimum. Where the typical specified frequency requirements are needed to be amended, for instance where usage levels, heights of building or conditions dictate specific to each Affected Property, these shall be amended in agreement with the service manager.
