Manchester City Council is prepared to receive tenders for an Education Management System which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. This new solution must support not only the local authority, but also parents, schools and providers across the city, to make sure that they have the best possible experience of interacting with us. The solution will need to support the Council to deliver all of its statutory requirements in relation to the following service areas: — school admissions, — school attendance, — early years, — Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including statutory assessment and Education, Health And Care (EHC) Plans for 0 to 25 population, — home to school travel including transport (SEND and adults), — school governance, — Information, Advice and Support (IAS) service, — virtual school for looked after children, — elective home education and children missing education, — reporting.
