The aim of the evaluation is to assess the impact and effectiveness of the EEN Scale up pilot following best practise as set out in the Innovate UK evaluation framework guide . The objective of the pilot is to identify a small number of SMEs with the highest growth potential and the desire to succeed, and to work with them to ensure they fulfil their potential to scale within Europe and beyond. The project is testing a more targeted and tailored approach, working with fewer, high growth, businesses for longer and more intensively, turning on its head the usual Network approach of providing defined services to clients, instead putting the client at the centre. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
