Tender description
The University of Birmingham intends to re-contract with One Identity for unlimited licensing of their Identity Manager and Password Manager products. This contract will be for a five year period from 2019 to 2024 and will be reviewed during 2024 with a view to being retendered in 2025. These One Identity products currently provide a fully embedded and integrated identity and password management solution to all our thousands of users and hundreds of business systems and IT services, solutions that are strategically imperative to the operational and financial success of the University. Due to the complex bespoke development work that has been undertaken over the last few years to fully integrate the products into all our existing business systems, any contractual efficiencies arising from another procurement process would be massively outweighed by significant re-development costs and probable knock-on delays to our in-flight ERP replacement project.
