East Sussex County Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations for the supply, installation, management and maintenance of: 1) Real Time Passenger Information Displays including associated hardware and firmware/software; and 2) A Central Management System (CMS). Award criteria will be based on a combination of both technical and commercial capability and best value. Detailed criteria will be provided within the Invitation to Tender. Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) Displays are now widely considered an essential facility for enhancing the customer experience of bus and train users, thereby helping to maximise patronage of more sustainable modes of transport. There is a requirement for purchasing display screens for transport services in East Sussex, Brighton and Hove, West Sussex and Surrey that can integrate with currently operating central management systems to display RTPI in a variety of locations. To procure a single supplier framework accessible by many authorities that caters for small/medium RTPI Displays. This must include the facilitation of software to link with a variety of Central Management Systems for RTPI and the ongoing maintenance of those displays.
