Tender description

Norfolk County Council have been granted funding by the department of transport for the provision of a bike share scheme in Norwich. The Council are currently scoping their requirement for the provision of the scheme which will be provided as part of the wider Norwich Transforming Cities project. While the project is still in the early stages of scoping, we anticipate that the scheme will be delivered sometime between January and March 2020. It is expected that the procurement will be carried out using the open procedure as defined in the Public Procurement Regulations 2015. It is expected that the scheme will operate across the city centre and extend along other designated travel corridors. The proposed procurement will appoint a single provider to set up (including any associated street works) and manage the scheme on behalf of the Council.
