Tender description

The Wolverhampton City area covers approximately 7,000 hectares and includes the population centres of Wolverhampton, Bilston, Wednesfield and Tettenhall. The majority of the City has been developed in the past, with associated influences on ground conditions, including the presence of made ground and former mining hazards. This tender is to provide Price Lists for two Wolverhampton City Council (WCC) term service contract lots, namely: Lot 1 - Site Investigation; Lot 2 - Ground Stabilisation. These are to support the delivery of a wide range of WCC projects that may include new school buildings, residential and commercial development sites, landscaping, and building defects assessments. The Form of Contract will be the NEC3 Term Service Short Contract. Tenders may be submitted for either or both of the Lots and so each Lot tendered will be evaluated separately. The same contractor may be awarded the contract for both Lots if they are the successful tenderer in both evaluations. The contracts are to have a duration of three years, each with an estimated value of £500,000.
