Tender description

The Council is inviting tenders from suppliers on the basis of providing a fully inclusive contract for the annual servicing of, supply and emergency call-outs to refrigeration and freezing equipment and air handling units across various premises located within and outside of the Kirklees area. The Council is inviting tenders from suppliers on the basis of providing a fully inclusive contract for the annual servicing of, supply and emergency call-outs to refrigeration and freezing equipment and air handling units across various premises located within and outside of the Kirklees area. Suppliers will be required to comprehensively cover the provision of the most appropriately skilled labour to undertake the necessary servicing and repairs to the Council’s portfolio of refrigeration and freezing equipment and air conditioning units. As a minimum the successful contractor will be required to: (a) undertake the comprehensive maintenance, inspection and testing for all Kirklees sites as per the Specification (see Section 3); (b) provide emergency call out service to all sites as per the Specification (see Section 3) twenty four (24) hours a day, every day for the duration of the contract period; (c) Undertake all additional works identified during the tender period necessary to ensure continued safe operation of equipment.
