Tender description
City of York Council, is seeking a long term partner to operate and manage its Library and Archives service for a period of 15 years from 1.4.2019, with a possible extension of a further 5 years. The service provides 14 static libraries (of which 1 is currently replaced by a temporary dedicated mobile facility due to the emergency closure of the building), 1 reading café, 1 mobile library, and a home library service. The City of York Council will use the Open procedure to appoint a contractor to run and operate its library services, including buildings, for 15 years.
