Tender description
The removal of bodies where a death has been referred to H M Coroner for Dorset for further investigation. Once a death is reported to the Coroner, H M Coroner takes control of the body and may arrange for its removal to a suitable location, including a Mortuary, where the Coronor may authorise a post mortem examination to be carried out. The Coroners Officers and Officers of Dorset Police are authorised by the Coronor to instruct the Supplier to collect the body and transfer it to a suitable location.
