Tender description

This is a contract award notice. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health is holding an open tender contest with the aim of ensuring adequate deliveries of four valent vaccinations against seasonal influenza (ATC code J07B B02) for vaccinating adults in defined risk groups, (see the tender documentation, Point 1.4), for the seasons 2019/2020 and 2020/2021, with an option for a further 2 seasons. 2 lots have been awarded where 1 lot shall cover 60 % of the requirement and the other lot shall cover 40 %. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health is holding an open tender contest with the aim of ensuring adequate deliveries of four valent vaccinations against seasonal influenza (ATC code J07B B02) for vaccinating adults in defined risk groups, (see the tender documentation, Point 1.4), for the seasons 2019/2020 and 2020/2021, with an option for a further 2 seasons. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health held a market survey (RFI) before this procurement. This was announced in Doffin on 7.10.208, with Doffin reference number 2018-356008. The aim of the market survey was to map the market's ability to offer and deliver 4 valent vaccinations for the coming seasons. Due to feedback from the market survey and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health's assessments on vaccinations, a decision has been made to end the current contracts for trivalent influenza vaccinations and hold a new competition for a contract for four valent vaccinations. The competition is being held electronically in the CTM tender management tool, and information given in the tender management tool, in the Doffin notice and the tender documentation's rules and terms for this new competition. The only award criterium in the competition was the lowest price. The tender documentation had several minimum requirements for the vaccination. All the minimum requirements must be fulfilled.
