Tender description

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has opted to place a Prior Information Notice (PIN) in order to set out the likely requirements for student accommodation from academic year 2020/21 onwards and to start a process of determining what may be available from potential suppliers. The PIN is not a call for competition. Instead it is a mechanism for LJMU to engage with potential suppliers and begin researching solutions that may be suitable for the University’s needs. LJMU has provided accommodation to new students via formal partnerships with a selected group of private providers for the past 15 years. For the past 6 years, it has offered no University-owned accommodation at all to students. The current set of partnership agreements expire at the end of academic year 2019/20 and hence there is a need to select a group of partners who can provide beds to new LJMU students for academic year 2020/21 and beyond.
