Tender description
Leeds City Council is making available the opportunity for Non-Schedule Bus & Coach (NSB&C) operators to submit grant applications for financial support to upgrade non-compliant (below Euro VI diesel) prior to the implementation of the Leeds Clean Air Charging Zone (CAZ) on 6 January 2020. Non-compliant vehicles will be charged £50 per day to drive in the CAZ. The grants available are capped at £16,000 per vehicle for NSB&Cs driving extensively within the CAZ, a maximum of one application can be submitted per company group and a maximum of 10 vehicle upgrades can be applied for.
