Tender description

West Midlands Combinewd Authority (WMCA) on behalf of Midland Metro Limited (MML) are looking to procure an Asset Management Information System (AMIS) to provide seamless and integrated planning, implementation and reporting for asset management and control across the Metro’s assets, which cover fixed (e.g. buildings), mobile (e.g. rolling stock) and linear (e.g. track infrastructure) assets. It is envisaged that the general purpose system can be customised for work processes to specific classes of assets. A Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) asset management system is required to be delivered that is tried and tested in a railway related environment. It must enable efficient and systematic collection of asset information and integrate and manage various aspects of the asset life cycle through integrating different work processes.
