Tender description

Bristol City Council is looking for experienced contractors to carry out external communal maintenance repairs and painting to a range of properties that are on the maintenance programmes. Framework will consist of 5 lots — measured rates and mini-competition. Lots 1/2/3: 16 000 000 combined. Lots 4/5: 36 000 000 combined. The estimated value of the works over a 4 year period is 52 000 000. A suppliers open day will be held on Wednesday 27.3.2019 at The City and Port of Bristol Social Club, Nibley Road, Bristol, BS11 9XW. There will be 2 sessions. It will include an introduction of the project, explain the type of work involved, the procurement process & opportunity for suppliers to ask questions: — AM session: arrive at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. start, — PM session: arrive at 1:00 p.m. for a 1:30 p.m. start. This will be a range of properties managed by Housing and Landlord Services. Lot 1: External and Communal Maintenance North (properties up to 4 storeys) Measured Rates. Lot 2: External and Communal Maintenance South (properties up to 4 storeys) Measured Rates. Lot 3: External and Communal Maintenance, Roofing Renewal/Repairs and Associated Miscellaneous Works (mini-comp up to 4 storeys). (16 000 000 GBP for combination of above). Lot 4: External and Communal Maintenance (from 4/5 storeys) up to 1 000 000 GBP (mini-comp) (8 000 000 GBP). Lot 5: Major Refurbishment External Works — over 1 000 000 GBP (mini-comp) (28 000 000 GBP). The estimated value of the work for the 4 years is 52 000 000 GBP.
