Tender description

An Post’s is seeking to appoint a service provider who can provide the daily transportation of mail by road on a set route. Services are required 6 DAYS, Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 12:15 with the service commencing and finishing from Dundalk Delivery Service Unit. The weight of the mails will normally not exceed 2,500kgs on any day and during peak periods; the maximum weight should not exceed 3,000kgs. During such periods, the Contractor may be required to provide additional runs. The successful contractor must provide a suitable vehicle with the ability to carry mail up to 3,000kg. All vehicles must operate to the correct weight limits, be road worthy and have a valid CVRT/CRW certificate.
