Tender description

The Trust is seeking to procure Blood Grouping for both Gloucester Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital. The Trust is seeking to procure blood-grouping equipment to cope with the workload stated above as well as an increase of 3 % year on year over the next 5 years. We are looking for each company to state fixed costs for 5 years post implementation with an optional 2 year extension. The company should state the best configuration of analysers to meet current and future workload. The price should include: — all running costs, — reagents, — service, — training and — any other incidental costs. The price is to include the cost of removal and installation of the machines including any works that need to be done to the laboratories to enable installation. We are willing to accept quotations for managed service plan, capital purchase, reagent rental, or any other innovative method of payment. Cost per test should be provided stating the basis behind the pricing.
