The framework is exclusive to the delivery of rail skills, including related safety training. Rail skills are those required to enable our staff to work on and around Network Rail’s live infrastructure covering; 1. Working at height; 2. First aid; 3. Lineside management; 4. Manual handling; 5. Track safety; 6. Machine/crane controller & On Track Plant (OTP); 7. Signal Engineering Maintenance & Signal Maintenance Testing Handbook (SMTH); 8. Signalling — interlockings, points & track circuits; 9. Electrification and power — non-awarded due to lack of sufficient tenderers with technical experience; 10. Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) & National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health; 11. Signalling Technology. Training Delivery of Compliance with Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAHR). II. Provide trainers to deliver Compliance with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981. The delivery of various Chainsaw Training courses by Lantra accredited trainers. Training Delivery of Compliance with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations (MHOR) 1992. Training Delivery of Attainment of critical track safety competencies to enable safe working on the railway. Delivery of Training for Attainment of critical On-Track Plant and Machine/ Crane Controller competencies to enable effective maintenance of the railway. Delivering training for Attainment of critical signal engineering competencies to enable effective maintenance of the railway. Delivering training for Attainment of critical signalling equipment engineering competencies for effective maintenance of the railway. Delivery of training for Professional Safety Accreditation from the Institution of occupational Health and Safety and the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health. Training Delivery of Professional Accreditation with regard to Signalling Design.
