Provision Of Ad Hoc Transport Services

Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking tenders from service Providers who wish to provide .Ad-Hoc transport services as described in Part 3 (the specification) and in accordance with the Invitation To Tender documents and in particular the Draft Contract Part 2. The total contract value is estimated to be worth £2.5 million per annum for Nottinghamshire County Council. This is a competitive procurement conducted under the open procedure of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. Ad-Hoc Transport is defined as short-term or emergency transport for single journeys or repeated journeys lasting generally not more than 6 weeks which can be cancelled at any time. Vehicles of various capacities will be required, minimum 4 seats and upwards, and in accordance with current Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Legislation, Private Hire or Hackney Carriage legislation or under Section 19 or 22 Permit (as appropriate) if the Provider’s use of such a permit is compliant with all applicable legal requirements. Transport is required for a variety of users including vulnerable adults and young people, those with special needs, disabilities and/or social care/health requirements, council staff and members. The transport operates generally, but not exclusively, within Nottinghamshire, and may extend to other locations within the UK.
