Midlands and Lancashire CSU is publishing this VEAT Notice to confirm the intention to award a contract (subject to approval) to Medicom Limited, who currently holds a General Medical Services (GMS) Contract as a limited company and have indicated that they wish to merge contracts with Issa Medical Centre. The GMS contract is the contract between general practices and NHS England / Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) for delivering primary care services to local communities. They also provide some additional commissioned services for the CCGs under an NHS Standard Contract. To achieve the merger it is planned for Medicom Limited to be disincorporated and for their current GMS contract and the NHS Standard contract to be terminated and a new GMS contract and NHS standard contract issued to the newly formed partnership. These contracts are open ended and as such the annual value of the contracts has been quoted.
