Tender description

Bristol City Council invites tenders for the Comprehensive Maintenance of the 149 nº Lifts at 87 locations within the Bristol City Council area. The contract will have duration of 3 years with a possible 1 year extension at Bristol City Councils discretion. The contract comprehensively covers all works, (servicing and breakdown) including the cost of the supply and installation of all replacement parts and the provision of skilled labour of the appropriate grade and trade for the different aspects of the work, in particular skilled electrical operatives capable of carrying out all of the servicing, inspections, checks and testing, together with the ability to verify and diagnose fault conditions from readings of the tests carried out, and also fully complete all certificates and record sheets for each installation. Tenderers shall include in their tender offer where necessary for the removal of an existing monitoring system, and for the supply, installation, (including any adaptation or interfacing whatsoever to existing equipment), commissioning, servicing and monitoring, plus any necessary repairs, replacement or upgrading of a Lift GSM Monitoring System for every lift installation included in the Schedule of Lifts appendix.
