Places for people has a portfolio of 349 lifts that are to be serviced and maintained on a fully comprehensive basis. There is also a planned upgrade /modernisation programme as well as new installations across the group. There are 9 regional Lots: — Lot 1 Scotland, — Lot 2 North East, — Lot 3 North West, — Lot 4 Yorkshire and Humber, — Lot 5 South East, — Lot 6 South West, — Lot 7 East of England, — Lot 8 Greater London, — Lot 9 Midlands. Places for people will appoint 3 service providers to this Lot. The current portfolio consists of 71 lifts across Scotland in the EH postcode area. Contracts will be awarded to appointed service providers for repair and maintenance contracts as well as individual contracts for modernisations /refurbishments and installations as they arise. The current portfolio consists of 25 lifts across South East England in the BN, CR, CT, ME, OX, PO and TN postcode areas. The current portfolio consists of 30 lifts across the East of England in the AL, CB. CO. IP, NR and WD postcode areas. The current portfolio consists of 21 lifts across central and Greater London in the E, EN, IG, N, SE, SW, TW, UB, W and WC postcode areas. Contracts will be awarded to appointed service providers for repair and maintenance contracts as well as individual contracts for modernisations /refurbishments and installations as they arise.
