PP17217 - Black Country Strategic Transport Review

Tender description

The Black Country Councils have agreed to commission a study to review the existing capacity within each organisation in relation to Strategic Transport, determine the level of skills available and how best these can be utilised to deliver our key priorities. The successful bidder will be expected to make an assessment on how the existing resource can be used to deliver the greatest impact, what additional resource is needed and how this could be structured to deliver the best long term results, recognising that transport investment is likely to continue for at least the next 10-15 years. The Successful Bidder will review the existing setup, develop a series of realistic options that can be delivered, identifying advantages and disadvantages with each option, but also indicate potential timescales for delivery, HR issues that will need to be overcome and how best the Black Country can build for the future.
