Early information notice only for future contract opportunity: The future contract opportunity is that the Council plan to procure contracts for transport of school pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN) for period 2018-2021. The further contract Notice for these requirements will be published 4.2018. When the future process commences, bidders will be required to obtain/download a Tender Pack, which will require them to complete both: 1. European Single Procurement Document (ESPD): which allows biddders to provide their personal and/or business information and to self-certify against a number of essential criteria (listed in this notice for your information); and 2. a tender proposal consisting of a question, pricing schedule, a form of tender and declaration. Note that the Tender Pack is not released with this notice. For avoidance of doubt, the Tender Pack will be available 4.2018 with release of the further contract notice. The Council are arranging contracts for transport of school pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN) for period 2018-2021. A further contract Notice (to be published 4.2018) will list the individual contracts; we anticipate around 150 contracts in this listing (normally each contract is listed with a Lot number). A single service provider will be appointed to each contract. Contracts will depend on the circumstances of the pupil(s) and be will be required for the school terms within either a 12 months duration, 24 months duration, or 36 months duration. There are approximately 40 destinations within and/or on the boundary of North Lanarkshire area associated with these contracts. Many of the contracts will contain more than one pupil/route(s) with multiple pick up and/or drop-off points. All drivers must be fully licensed and insured. Some contracts may have a requirement for an escort which should be arranged by the driver this will fully explained within each individual contract description in the Tender document. An essential requirement before undertaking a contract is that both drivers and any escorts must be PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) registered.
