MARKETING EVENT FOR VOLUNTARY SECTOR INFRASTRUCTURE & CAPACITY BUILDING SUPPORT (VSICB)

Tender description

The London Borough of Sutton’s current contract for the above support and capacity building fund expires at the end of March 2019. The borough wishes to host the first in a sequence of consultation activities and invites all interested sector representatives and stakeholders to join us on Wednesday 21st March between 11:30am and 1:30pm at the SCILL Building, 3 Robin Hood Lane, Sutton, SM1 2SW. The Council has earmarked a maximum budget of £300,000 p.a. to support innovative solutions, different ways of working and activities that strengthens infrastructure and capacity building in the voluntary sector, thus improving outcomes for borough residents that are measurable, outcome based and fulfill our aspirations under the Sutton Plan. The council’s strategic direction involves individuals, community groups, voluntary organisations and businesses, whether new or established, working together to shape and deliver services to the local community. The council and key strategic partners in the local voluntary sector are the facilitators of this event and look forward to welcoming you.
