Somerset County Council (SCC) is seeking to commission a Contract cleaning services contractor for a number of their buildings including but not restricted to County Hall, Shire Hall offices and estate buildings, premises and sites across the county. The services for all locations and premises will be procured under a common contract; the commencement date is estimated to be 1.8.2018. The services for all locations and premises will be procured under a common contract; the commencement date is estimated to be 1.8.2018. A base service specification will be common across all buildings premises and sites that are in scope. Areas to be cleaned across the estate include but will not be restricted to, general offices including communal areas, toilets and kitchens, libraries, children and adult centres, resourcing centres and highway depots. There will be a requirement for additional cleaning tasks and operations, in addition to the standard requirements will be required on a periodic basis and be scheduled on an as required basis.
