Tender description

Barnet Council is required to provide transportation services and assistants for passengers who qualify under statutory and discretional policies. These services include, but are not limited to, Education transport including Special Educational Needs transport, Adult Day Care Centres and Services. Type of work is split by vehicle and specialism. The Approved List is open to any operator to join at any time, upon satisfying the entry criteria. 4 or 5 seat saloon car, with a small to standard boot space 4 or 5 seat saloon car, with a large boot space 5 or 6 seat people carrier, with a small to standard boot space 7 or 8 seat people carrier, with a small to standard boot space 8 or 9 seat van conversion minibus excluding front cab seats, with a small to standard boot space (excluding tail lift) 12 to 16 seat van conversion minibus excluding front cab seats, with a small to standard boot space (excluding tail lift) 17 to 24 seat van conversion minibus excluding front cab seats, with a small to standard boot space (excluding tail lift) 25 to 55 seat coach excluding front cab seats, with a large boot space (excluding tail lift) Capacity to carry 1 to 3 standard wheel chairs or 3 to 6 seats or combination of both, a custom built minibus excluding front cab seats, with a small to standard boot space (including tail lift). Capacity to carry 4 to 6 standard wheel chairs or 12 to 18 seats or combination of both, a custom built minibus excluding front cab seats, with a small to standard boot space (including tail lift). Capacity to carry 6 to 8 standard wheel chairs or 18 to 24 seats custom built minibus excluding front cab seats, with a small to standard boot space (including tail lift).
