SCC VF Vehicle Crossover (VCO)

Tender description

Surrey County Council (the Council) are issuing this invitation to establish a 3 year Select List for the construction and alteration to vehicle crossovers in Surrey (Works). A number of Contractors will be appointed to each lot for the framework agreement and call off contracts/ purchase orders will be issued for the work required. This will consist of contractors who are able to construct a vehicle crossing over footways and verges in the highway. Contractors will have the capacity and capability to work across the County and/or designated areas. The Works will be commissioned through the Council. The winning bidders (Contractors) will be appointed and held on the Select List. The list of approved contractors will be made available to the local residents on request. Contractors shall provide an accurate quote in response to Request for Quotations from local residents. The local resident shall provide the copy of the contractor's accepted quote to the Council and shall make a payment in full for such selected quote and the Administrative Fees due to the Council. Upon receipt of all monies due, the Council will issue a Purchase Order to the contractor selected by a local resident detailing the required scope of the work. The payment to contractor will be made by the Council upon the acceptance of works issued following the completion of the visual inspection of works on behalf of a local resident. The full specifications of works are provided in Schedule 1 - Technical Specifications. Contractors will be required to provide all necessary labour, plants, materials and traffic management required to carry out the Works.
