East Lothian Council intends to establish a framework of Works Main Contractors to be invited to tender, under mini competition, for works contained in the Council’s programme of new build housing construction works over a maximum period of 4 years – (2 years initially with the option of 2 x 1 year extensions). The framework will exclude: 1) Emergency Works; 2) Planned Maintenance Works; 3) Small Scale Fire Risk Assessment Works; 4) Stand alone separate electrical, mechanical and plumbing works; 5) House Extensions; 6) Works to public buildings including sports facilities and schools.
