Essex County Council’s (ECC) current resourcing contract is due to end in September 2019 and we are taking this opportunity to engage with the market, via early market engagement activities, to inform our scope and specification, delivery model and route to market, for the new requirement. At a high level the current requirements include: — Recruitment and selection activity for internal and external permanent and fixed term contract vacancies, — Pre-employment and safeguarding checks, — Engagement of interims and agency workers, possibly including work-packaging, — Access to resource banks via agency supply chain for specific work groups, — Access to leading edge resourcing approaches and solutions, supporting delivery of strategic workforce plans, talent acquisition, and resource management activity including the development of talent pipelines. Work has commenced work in outlining some key principles for the requirement however we are now seeking to understand the potential options available from the market, how these can be delivered and how we best procure them. As part of an early market engagement programme, ECC would like to invite key suppliers from the market to attend a Supplier Event in Chelmsford on 20.3.2018, on a first come first served basis, where we would like to share our vision and gain valuable feedback from the market. It is anticipated that further individual meetings will then take place with interested relevant suppliers during week commencing 9 April. ECC would like to take this opportunity to invite you to express your interest in attending the Supplier Event.
