The Clothing Team, which forms part of Leidos Supply Ltd has a potential requirement for the supply of a dual purpose Shoe Fitness Trainer suitable for indoor and outdoor use, in male (UK sizes 5 to 15) and female versions (UK size 3 to 9). Bidders will be able to submit up to a maximum of four solutions. The end user will be the UK armed forces. The proposed contract will be for a duration of two years plus two ‘option’ years, with a potential start date in March 2019. Current estimated quantities for the duration of the contract are: Circa 25 000 pairs p.a. A draft specification can be issued following expressions of interest. Please note that the product specification may be subject to minor changes prior to distribution of the Invitation to Tender. Expressions of Interest are to be made by e-mail using the given points of contact. Estimated Contract value per annum is: 800 000 GBP to 1.2m GBP (ex. VAT). The requirement is for a running training shoe that can be used for indoor and outdoor surfaces, including metalled roads/pavements, off-road and gym floors. Indoor training ranges from sport and recreation to circuit training, strength and conditioning and rope climbing activities. Current estimated quantities for the duration of the contract are: Circa 25 000 pairs p.a. A draft specification can be made available following expressions of interest in the requirement.
