Tender description

Provision of on-premises IT consultancy support to ECMWF in scope of activities on the Copernicus Data Store (CDS) and the Copernicus Data and Information Access Services platform (DIAS). ECMWF requires 2 full-stack web developers to support on the deployment and operations of the current Copernicus Data Store platform. The Developers will work integrated within the CDS team, which is in charge of the implementation, operation and maintenance of that platform. The consultancy support requires a full-time availability of the 2 web developers for the full duration of the contract. The tasks of the consultant shall be carried out mainly at ECMWF’s premises in Reading, U.K. ECMWF requires one Systems Integrator to support ECMWF’s contribution to the development and implementation of a Cloud Computing Platform focusing on Data Access, processing and tools that ingest large volume datasets. The incumbent will work closely with equivalent peers at our partner organisations EUMETSAT and Mercator Ocean. The consultancy support requires a full-time availability of the system integrator for the full duration of the contract. The tasks of the consultant shall be carried out mainly at ECMWF’s premises in Reading, U.K. but occasional travel within Europe may be required.
