Early Years Stakeholder Engagement Contract 2019-20

Tender description

The Department for Education (DfE) is seeking to appoint a suitable supplier to work collaboratively with the Department over the 14-month period (February 2019 - March 2020) to provide effective stakeholder engagement and communication channel between the Early Year Sector and DfE. Any organisation (including VCS) may submit bids. Applications will be assessed according to the extent to which they meet the assessment criteria described in the application form. Any questions related to points of clarification or process must be submitted by noon Friday 7th December 2018 to: EnquiriesEarlyYears.VCSGRANTS@education.gov.uk and a frequently asked questions (FAQs) document will be developed and posted by the 13th December. Timetable Invitation to bid published - 30th November 2018 Clarification Q&A deadline - 7th December 2018. DfE to provide answers by 13th December 2018. Deadline for bids - Noon 7th January 2019 Notification of outcome - early January 2019 Due diligence checks and contract finalisation early February 2019. Contract awarded - Mid February 2019. Start and End Date: 14 months - February 2019 - end of March 2020. We are making available up to a maximum of £100,000 (inclusive of VAT) for a 14-month period (February 2019-March 2020). This is intended as a guide and, whilst the Department does not intend to depart from this, it reserves the right to do so at any time subject to quality and range of proposals received.
